How To Make A Puzzle Board

Even though you are going through difficult times with Covid-19, you don't have to go to Hawaii. Hawaii will come to you through the magic of puzzles. You have so many beautiful Hawaii scenes to pick from that you might need to employ an expert to create jigsaw board. While you can buy one from the internet This DIY project will save you time and let you enjoy quality time with your family.
A majority of puzzle boards provide a large flat piece of paper which you can move around on as you need. You can also sort colors with my DIY puzzle board project. This makes it much simpler to create puzzles. Four drawers can be neatly put away beneath the puzzle at the end of the day.
To create this puzzle board, you will need:
3 pieces of plywood
A picture frame which is the identical size to three pieces of wood. This could be accomplished using canvas frames or a four-picture frame. Also, you could use 5 planks of wooden and follow Step 2 for more details.
4 drawer knobs, 4 screws
Many of these will be used as drawer sides (essential) and table edges (optional)
wood glue and nail for finishing
Step 1: Measure and cut 3 sheets of plywood
It is possible to cut a plywood sheet into three equal pieces based on the puzzle you are trying to solve. Let's look at this example:
500 pieces: 9 x 12 inch
750 pieces: 18 x 24 inch
1,000 pieces: 20 x 30 inch
1,500 pieces: 23 x 33 inch
There aren't any hard guidelines, so creating jigsaw puzzle only a couple of inches larger than the one you have in mind won't hurt. For a puzzle that is 1000 pieces, I used plywood sheets that were exactly the same size as the picture frame.
The first 2 plywood pieces will serve as the top and bottom of the table and the third piece with modifications made in Step 5 will be the drawers' bottoms.
Step 2: Create the picture frame
The 4-picture frame must be cut. Eight cuts are required (see the illustration). The bits that are left over will become the fronts of your drawers. Alternately, measure and cut nine planks of wood (3 longer than the table and 6 as wide as you want the drawers to be), to come up with the same 4-picture frame without the 4 marked pieces.
Step Three: Create the central layer of the puzzle board
Glue and nail the frame to the top sheet of plywood. Find out how deep your drawers can be before they touch the stick at the center (I measured 17 inches).
Step 4: Complete the puzzle board
Nail and glue the second sheet of plywood.
Step 5: cut the drawer's bottoms
The third sheet of plywood should be cut into 4 pieces. The width of the piece is the same size that the fronts of drawers. The length is established in Step 3. Before nailing and gluing the drawer front on the pieces of plywood, make sure to reduce (or sand) them slightly: enough in fact to make up for the thickness of the plywood used for the bottoms (otherwise they'll be too big!)
Step 6: finish the drawers
Screw drawer handles. Then, you need to glue the drawer sides and edges. This is crucial if you are a puzzler and enjoy sliding pieces of puzzle around. This step takes a few hours to dry, so be careful!
